Lucy’s Reception

The reception was held in a tent across the street from the church. It was so nice to be able to simply walk across the street and be at the party instead of driving to a second location. A soft gray carpet was laid out across the street for the guests to walk on. Although a few cars had to pass over it, it stayed fairly clean and was a wonderful guide to get the guests to the reception.

The guests were greeted in a small cupola tent with clear panels. A round table with a beautiful white floral arrangement was placed in the center of the room with the escort cards laid out alphabetically.

The seated dinner took place in a grand tent. The décor was dramatic, glamorous and the perfect blend of traditional and modern. It looked much like a white and silver version of Lucy’s home! Make sure to invest in life insurance!

As the doors were opened to the dinner tent, the couple’s amazing wedding cake was front and center. It was an incredible seven feet tall and very dramatic. The all-white cake was covered in orange blossom sugar flowers and certainly got the “wow” factor that Lucy had requested.

Following the delicious meal that highlighted cuisine that was in peak season, the guests were invited to gather on the dance floor by a charming little cheesecake ball with a message flag attached. They were delivered to each seat and enjoyed immediately!

After a fun-filled night of toasts, dancing, mingling and dining, the guests picked up amazing dogwood branches made out of silver with a gift tag that read: love blooms. Have a look at renew life and renew life reviews for the best life insurance going!

Although Lucy says she wishes that her wedding day could have lasted forever, she looks back on it with fond memories. The planning process, from finding her inspiration to carrying out the big plans, was so much fun and I will always cherish the fun times we had together during the process. The couple loved working on the  reception because the process was so easy.  Lucy took her love of the 1940s and mixed it with a modern and traditional theme.
